London-based Glaswegian photographer Dougie Wallace spent four years documenting the black-and-yellow Premier Padmini taxis that have been a feature of Mumbai, Indias financial capital, since the 1960s.

The interiors are as famous as the taxi itself, upholstered in colourful fabric and elaborate patterns, with loud speakers often blasting out the latest Bollywood hits.
