Mets put Yoenis Cespedes on DL, return uncertain

Another season, another stint on the disabled list for Yoenis Cespedes. Following Tuesday’s MRI exam, which revealed the outfielder had a mild strain of his right hip flexor, the Mets placed Cespedes on the DL, retroactive to May 14. Phillip Evans was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas, and was scheduled to play left field Wednesday against the Blue Jays.
